Agno
Runtime platform that turns AI agents into production services with sessions and observability.
About
Agno provides a full stack for building and operating AI agent services in production. Agents are written with its Python SDK, and the AgentOS runtime exposes them through a FastAPI-based REST API with more than 50 endpoints, server-sent events, and WebSocket support. The platform persists sessions, memory, knowledge, and audit traces in PostgreSQL, adds JWT-based role-based access control with multi-tenant isolation, and includes human-in-the-loop approval workflows for sensitive actions. Pre-built toolkits connect agents to over 100 services such as GitHub, Slack, and Postgres, and agents can be reached through Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Discord. Observability comes from OpenTelemetry tracing plus a control plane UI for testing, monitoring, and managing agent systems, with cron scheduling and background jobs built in. Deployment targets include Docker, Kubernetes via Helm, AWS, GCP, Azure, Fly.io, and Modal. Open source under the Apache 2.0 license, it is aimed at teams that need agents running as durable backend services rather than notebook experiments.
