EasyOCR by JaidedAI is a ready-to-use optical character recognition library for Python that supports more than 80 languages across Latin, Chinese, Arabic, Devanagari, Cyrillic, and other scripts. It uses deep learning models for text detection and recognition behind a short three-line API and runs on CPU or GPU. A Gradio web demo is available on Hugging Face Spaces. Released under the Apache 2.0 license.
