Llama 3.1 by Meta is an open-weight language model family released in 8B, 70B, and 405B parameter sizes with a 128K-token context window, tool use, and multilingual support. The release consolidated Meta's repositories into an end-to-end Llama Stack and the 405B model was among the strongest open models at launch. Released under the Llama 3.1 Community License with weights on Hugging Face.
