About
Text Generation WebUI by oobabooga is a desktop and browser interface for running local LLMs across text, vision, tool-calling, and web search workflows. Portable builds cover Linux, Windows, and macOS with CUDA, Vulkan, ROCm, or CPU-only backends and load GGUF models via llama.cpp; additional backends include ExLlamaV3 and Transformers. The project is open source, has no telemetry, and exposes both a chat UI and an API.
