LangChain is a framework for building agents and LLM-powered applications by chaining interoperable components and third-party integrations. It connects models to sources of context and tools, standardizes interfaces so providers can be swapped, and pairs with LangGraph for controllable agent orchestration and the wider LangChain product suite. It is one of the most widely used LLM application frameworks. Released under the MIT license.
